Overview of the Application Process for ISF and AMS Security Filing Service
To utilize the add-on ISF (Importer Security Filing) and/or AMS (Automated Manifest System) security filing service with GoFreight, please follow the application process outlined below along with the necessary documents.
- Price:
The filing for ISF and AMS in GoFreight is charged per transaction. Please contact our customer support team. A support team agent will be in touch with you shortly.

Regulation: Only licensed Non-Vessel Operating Common Carriers (NVOCCs) can apply for ISF and AMS filing through GoFreight. If you are not NVOCC, you will not be able to proceed with the application.
- Application Process:
- Once you accept the quote, fill out the required documents.
- Send the required documents to the GoFreight customer support team at support@gofreight.com.
- The application process typically takes around 2 weeks to receive approval from CBP for ISF and AMS filing.
- After receiving CBP's approval, our customer success team will set up your account and send you a separate email containing the ISF/AMS user guide.
- Required Documents:
For ISF:
- Signed ISF Letter of Intent (LOI) (see below attachment "CBP_LOI_ISF" for download).
- NMFTA Certification (must indicate "NVOCC" type).
For AMS:
- Signed AMS Letter of Intent (LOI) (see below attachment "CBP_LOI_AMS" for download).
- NMFTA Certification (must indicate "NVOCC" type).
- AMS portal's user settings (see below attachment "AMS User Setting Template (NEW)" for download).
**Note: If you wish to apply for both ISF and AMS services at the same time, please submit the following documents together:
- ISF LOI
- AMS LOI
- NMFTA Certification (with "NVOCC" type indicated)
- AMS User Setting Template (NEW)
