How to Create a New Shipment in Air Import

This guide will walk you through the process of creating a new shipment in the Air Import module of the system.

Step 1: Access the Air Import Module

  1. Navigate to the Menu Bar:
    On the left-hand side of the screen, find and click on the Air Import module.
  2. Click on New Shipment:
    Once you’re in the Air Import module, click on New Shipment.

Step 2: Enter Mandatory Fields

  1. MAWB No. (Master Air Waybill Number), Office, and Arrival Date/Time:
    The system will redirect you to the MAWB (Master Air Waybill) information page. The following fields are mandatory and marked with a red asterisk:
    • MAWB No.
    • Office: By default, it will be set to your main office. If you have access to others, please select your desired office from the dropdown menu.
    • Arrival Date and Time: Fill in these details to proceed. You can save the file after entering both fields and update them later if necessary.

Step 3: Enter Shipment Information

  1. Enter the MAWB No.
  2. Select an Overseas Agent if applicable
  3. Select a Carrier.
  4. If this is a Direct Master shipment, check the Direct Master box to enable additional fields such as Shipper, Consignee, Notify, Customer, Bill To, and Sales.

Step 4: Enter Flight Details

  1. Departure and Destination Airports:
    The Departure and Destination fields allow you to search using either the IATA code in its 3-letter format or the partial airport name.
    • For example:
      • Departure: you can use either the IATA code 'BKK' or 'Suvarnabhumi' as the search keyword, for example.
      • Destination (John F Kennedy Int’l): JFK
  2. Departure and Arrival Date and Time
    • Enter the specific Departure and Arrival Date and Time by selecting.
  3. Flight No.
    • Enter the Flight No.
  4. Connecting Flight Information:
    • Click “Connecting Flight +” to expand the Route section to input the connecting flight details.
    • Fill in the corresponding flight details for each segment (Trans 1 for the first segment, Trans 2 for the second segment, and Trans 3 for the third segment)

Step 5: Enter Route and Flight Details

  1. Route Information:
    The route chart will display the following:
    • Departure
    • Trans 1
    • Trans 2
    • Trans 3
    • Destination
  2. The Departure and Final Destination will be synchronized automatically once entered.
  3. Flight Information (for Transfers):
    For each connecting flight (Trans 1, Trans 2, Trans 3), you can fill in the date, time, flight number, and carrier if needed.

By following these steps, you will successfully create a new shipment in Air Import and enter all relevant details.
