How to Generate a Consolidated Manifest in Ocean Export

This guide outlines the steps to generate a consolidated manifest for shipments that include multiple House Bills of Lading (HBL) under one Master Bill of Lading (MBL).

Step 1: Access the MBL Details

  1. Navigate to the Ocean Export Module: Open the shipment you want to generate the consolidated manifest for (e.g., OEX-23030011).
  2. Open the Tools Menu: Click on the Tools option under the MBL.
  3. Select Manifest: Scroll down and select Manifest from the menu. A pop-up window will appear.

Step 2: Choose Report Criteria

  1. Select the Recipient of the Report:
    • Report: Select the recipient of this document, Master/Agent (Actual Shipper), or Carrier.
    • Report Type: Select either By Container or By MBL as the report type.
  2. Generate the Report:
    • After selecting Master/Agent (Actual Shipper) and Container as the report type, for example, click on View to generate the report.

Step 3: Review the Manifest

  1. View the Preview Page: The dropdown menu at the top of the preview page allows you to switch between different containers to view their Manifests.
  2. Manifest Layout: The manifest will show the following details:
    • On the left, you will see the From and To columns, typically displaying you and your overseas agent.
    • On the right-hand side, the report will list:
      • MBL No.File No.Booking No.
      • CarrierVesselVoyage
      • Port of Loading with ETD and Port of Discharge with ETA
      • Container No.Seal No.Size

Step 4: Additional Shipment Details

  1. Show Mark and Description: Click on the Show Mark and Description option in the middle of the page to display additional details about the shipment marks and descriptions.
  2. PCS/WEIGHT/MEASUREMENT:
    • The manifest will display PCS(Pieces)Weight, and Measurement for each HBL.
  3. Shipper and Consignee Information will be listed under each corresponding HBL.
  4. Nature of Goods: If needed, click on the Show Commodity PCS and Amount option under the Nature of Goods column to view more details about the commodity.
  5. Non-Stackable Cargo: If the cargo is non-stackable, check the box under the Term column.
  6. Total Amount: At the bottom of the report, you will find the total amount of PCSweightmeasurement, and B/L(Bill of Lading) number(s) of the container.

Step 5: Download or Share the Manifest

  1. Download or Print the Manifest: After reviewing the data, you can choose to:
    • Download PDF
    • Print
    • Email: You can also request to generate a Word version.
  2. Save the Document: Any of these actions will automatically save the document to the Doc Center tab for easy access later.

By following these steps, you can successfully generate and review a consolidated manifest for your Ocean Export shipments.
