How to Generate a Manifest in GoFreight

Once all shipment data entry is complete, you can generate a Manifest directly from the Master Bill of Lading (MBL). Follow these steps:

Step 1: Navigate to the Manifest Tool

  1. Open the desired MBL.
  2. Click on Tools in the upper-right corner.
  3. Scroll down and select Manifest.

Step 2: Configure the Manifest Report

A pop-up window will appear with the following options:

  • MBL No.: Automatically populated based on the selected MBL.
  • Master Agent: Displays the associated master agent.
  • Report Recipient Options:
    • Master Agent (Actual Shipper)
    • Sub Agent
    • Carrier
  • Report Type Options:
    • By Container
    • By MBL
  1. Choose the Report Recipient (e.g., Master Agent (Actual Shipper)).
  2. Select By MBL for the report type.
  3. Click View to generate the preview.

Step 3: Review the Manifest Details

The preview page will display shipment details, including:

  • Carrier Information
  • Vessel & Voyage
  • Port of Loading (POL) & Estimated Time of Departure (ETD)
  • Port of Discharge (POD) & Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA)
  • Container Information (Container No., Seal No., and Container Size)
  • Shipper & Consignee Details

Step 4: Customize the Document Title (Optional)

At the upper-right corner of the preview, you can modify the document title by selecting one of the following options:

  • Cargo Manifest
  • Container Manifest
  • Pre-Alert

Step 5: Save and Share the Manifest

Once all data is reviewed and confirmed, choose from the following options at the top of the page:

  • Download PDF: Save a copy of the manifest.
  • Print: Print the document directly.
  • Email: Send the document via email.

Regardless of the method chosen, the generated Manifest will be automatically saved under the Doc Center tab for future reference.

By following these steps, you can efficiently generate and manage Manifests in GoFreight, ensuring accurate shipment documentation and streamlined operations.
