How to Generate Delivery Orders and Other Air Import Documents in GoFreight
This guide will walk you through the process of generating a Delivery Order for air import shipments and printing other essential documents, including I.T./T.E., Release Order, Preliminary Claim, and Carrier Certificate.
Step 1: Accessing the Delivery Order
To generate a Delivery Order, open the Air Import Shipment file. You can create a Delivery Order for:
- Entire Air Import Shipment
- Navigate to the Master AWB (Master Air Waybill) section.
- Click Tools > Select Delivery Order.
- Specific House AWB Import Shipment
- Go to the House AWB (House Air Waybill) section.
- Click Tools > Select Delivery Order.
Step 2: Customizing the Delivery Order
On the preview page, you can modify details before finalizing the document.
- Left Side: Pickup and delivery information.
- Right Side: Shipment details.
Modifying the Carrier Section
If the airline and flight number have been entered in the basic entry, you can choose to display:
- Only Airline
- Only Flight Number
- Both Airline & Flight Number
Adding Shipment Details
Scrolling down, you will see:
- Mark & Description
- PKGS (Piece Count)
- Weight & Measurement
Adding Special Instructions
You can check the checkbox DO NOT BREAK DOWN PALLET to display on your document, if necessary.
Selecting Inland Freight Payment Type
Choose PREPAID or COLLECT from the drop-down menu.
Step 3: Generating and Printing the Delivery Order
Once all details are confirmed, you can:
- Download as a PDF
- Print the document
- Send it via email
Step 4: Printing Other Essential Documents
Apart from the Delivery Order, you may also need the following air import documents:
- I.T./T.E (Immediate Transportation/Transportation and Exportation)
- Release Order
- Preliminary Claim
- Carrier Certificate
How to Access These Documents
- Open the HAWB section.
- Click Tools to find the document options.
- Select the required document and choose to Download, Print, or Email it.
Step 5: Document Storage
After generating any document, GoFreight will automatically save a copy in the [Doc Center] for future reference.
By following these steps, you can efficiently manage Delivery Orders and other key documents for your air import shipments.
