How to Get Your Warehouse Partner to Use the Dock Receipt List in the Tracking Portal?
Overview
The Dock Receipt List feature in the Customer Portal provides warehouse partners with real-time visibility of goods reception. If your team uses the Receipt List functionality in GoFreight to manage warehouse reception, enabling this feature allows your warehouse partners to benefit from greater visibility and improved coordination throughout the cargo receiving process.
Note: The Dock Receipt List feature is disabled by default. To sync the Receipt List to the Customer Portal, please contact GoFreight Support to have this feature enabled for the relevant account.
Dock Receipt List View
Once enabled, the Dock Receipt List displays an overview of received goods for warehouse partners. Operations teams should ensure that data from the FMS syncs correctly so customers can view the following information:
- Receipt No.
- Receiving Warehouse name
- Number of Package
- Commodity name
- PO No.
- Shipped or not
- Shipping type (e.g., Ocean, Air)
- Received date
- Configurable columns (users can customize their own view in the Customer Portal)

User Access Requirements
To grant tracking users access to receipts in the Customer Portal, verify that their role and TP code are properly aligned with the warehouse receipt in GoFreight:
- If the tracking user role is Customer, enter their TP code in the Customer field.
- If the tracking user role is Shipper, enter their TP code in the Shipper field.
- If the tracking user role is Consignee, enter their TP code in the Consignee field.
For adding or updating tracking users, refer to Tracking User Management
.
Data Synchronization
The Dock Receipt List in the Customer Portal pulls data directly from:
Warehouse > Receipts > Receipt List in your GoFreight system.
✅ By enabling and managing the Dock Receipt List, you allow your warehouse partners to view real-time reception details directly in the Customer Portal. The list includes key columns such as W/H Receipt No., Received Date, B/L No., Shpd status, and Commodity. Providing this visibility helps your partners track cargo more effectively, improving transparency, coordination, and overall operational efficiency.
