How to Print a Package Label for Air Export Shipments

Printing a Package Label in GoFreight

Follow these steps to create accurate and compliant package labels for your air export shipments using GoFreight:

  1. Prepare Your Printer:
    • Ensure your label printer is properly connected to your workstation for seamless printing.
  2. Open the Air Export Shipment:
    • Navigate to the desired air export shipment file in GoFreight.
  3. Access the Package Label print under the “Tools” menu:
    • Go to the Tools section within the House AWB (House Air Waybill).
    • Select Package Label to generate the label.
  4. Review the Package Label Preview:
    • The package label preview page will display the following essential information:
      • Airline name
      • Barcode
      • MAWB number (Master Air Waybill No.)
      • Origin and destination
      • Total number of pieces
      • Name of the forwarder
      • HAWB Number (House Air Waybill No.)
      • Number of pieces for this house air waybill
  5. Make Any Necessary Modifications:
    • Review the information on the label and make any adjustments to ensure accuracy.
  6. Select the Print Option:
    • Choose one of the following options:
      • Save as PDF
      • Send directly to the label printer
      • Email the label through GoFreight
    • Important Note: Any changes made on the preview page will not be saved in the shipment's basic entry.
  7. Automatic Record-Keeping:
    • A copy of the generated package label will be automatically saved in the Doc Center of your House AWB for future reference.

By following these steps, you will efficiently generate compliant package labels for your air export shipments in GoFreight.
