How to Quickly Assign OP to Handle Shipments

This guide explains how to assign an Operation (OP) to handle shipments. By using this feature, you can ensure every shipment has a dedicated owner responsible for handling the operation.

Assign an OP for Multiple Shipments (Batch Update)

You can also batch assign OP directly from the shipment list view.

Supported Modules

Batch assignment is supported in the following modules:

  • Ocean Import
  • Ocean Export
  • Air Import
  • Air Export
  • Truck

Batch assignment is not yet supported in the following modules:

  • MISC(Miscellaneous)
  • Warehouse

 

Step 1: Open the Shipment List

  1. Go to the desired shipment list, example: Ocean Import Master B/L List

 

Step 2: Select Shipments

  1. Select the shipments you want to update.
  2. Click Change OP, in this example, we select Alan(Alan)



Step 3: Select the Apply Method

  1. Choose the preferred apply method.
  2. Click Proceed.



Step 4: Verify the Result

After the update is completed:

  • The MBL OP
  • The HBL OP

will be updated to the selected operator.





Best Practices

  • Assign an OP as early as possible to ensure clear ownership of the shipment.
  • Use batch assignment when updating multiple shipments to save time.
  • When assigning OP at the MBL level, review whether the same OP should also handle all related HBL shipments.
