How to Use GoFreight's Dashboard for Performance Analysis?

This report is primarily designed for General Managers, Sales Managers, and Sales roles who need to review business trends and evaluate sales performance over time.

To conduct a performance analysis using GoFreight’s Dashboard, please follow the steps and guidelines outlined below.

By selecting a specific date range, you can compare performance data with the same period last year or with the previous month.

Your TOTAL PROFIT, TOTAL VOLUME, NO. OF ACTIVE CUSTOMERS, and NO. OF LOST CUSTOMERS will be shown as a percentage change, indicating either an increase or a decrease.

The total volume and profit displayed on the dashboard are based on the data from the Volume & Profit Report. To view more detailed information, you can run the Volume & Profit Report.

To access the report, navigate to: "Report" > "Volume & Profit Report".

Example: Let’s use the Volume & Profit demo below to generate the same Profit result as shown on the Dashboard.

Dashboard:

  • Office: All
  • Period: Post date: 06-01-2021 to 06-07-2021
  • Total Profit: $8,850

Volume Profit Report:

Please ensure that the criteria used to run the report match those on the dashboard.

  • Office: All
  • Period: Post date: 06-01-2021 to 06-07-2021

Set any additional conditions and then click “View”.

You will see the total profit: $8,850. This amount is the same as what is displayed on the dashboard.

Active Customers and Lost Customers

On the dashboard, the system classifies customers as either active or lost based on the "last shipment post date within the last 60 days." If a customer has not engaged with you for more than 60 days, they will be categorized as a lost customer.

Note: Currently, the 60-day threshold is fixed and cannot be adjusted.

You can click the “Details” button to pull up a list view of Lost Customers Detail.

In the Lost Customers Detail list, you can check the "Ignore" checkbox to hide the trade partners that you might not need to follow up with from the list. You can also click "Print" to print the list.

You can also view the Top 5 customers by Profit and by Volume. This makes it easy for you to track performance and conduct your analysis.

If the numbers are not updated, please try refreshing by clicking the 'Refresh' button in the top right corner of the dashboard.
