How to Verify Accounting Block History ?

In this article, you will learn how to check and understand your accounting block history. 

Who Can Access the Accounting Block History

By default, only the General ManagerAccounting Manager, and users with the Accounting role have access. Users in other roles can access this feature if approved by an Admin or General Manager. GoFreight support agents can also grant access, with or without modifying the user’s role.

  1. Navigate to “Accounting” > “Journal” > “Accounting Block History” in the navigation bar.
  2. Select your desired filter criteria, e.g., Office, Execute Date, and Program.
  3. Click “Search” to proceed.

The Accounting Block History will be displayed below. 

Key Column Descriptions:

  • "Program" Column: This column shows whether the action performed was Block Maintenance or Accounting Block.

  • Lock Icon Column: You can identify whether the block was locked or unlocked by the icon displayed.

  • Block Type/Date: This column shows the date range indicating when files were locked prior to a certain date or unlocked after a certain date, or the file type for Block Maintenance.
